This Twickenham based secondary special school works closely with pupils aged between 11 and 19yrs suffering with severe and profound learning difficulties. An exceptional school with exceptional staff, this special school were classified as “outstanding” in March 2007, shortly before becoming a specialist college for physical and sensory impairment.

The Headteacher is looking for 2 class teachers of any subject specialism to take on a permanent post, beginning immediately!

Experience is an advantage, as to keep up the standard of provision for the schools 72 pupils; however those with QTS and experience in mainstream will be considered if they can convey a passion and temperament to work within SEN.

Possibility of management allowance and SEN points are available for those suitably experienced, and specialism in any subject is welcomed due to the nature and level of curriculum these pupils will be working to.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, be able to provide a solid and consistent track record and simply have a true passion to work within special needs. Obstacles and challenges will be a daily occurrence, and so a dynamic and empathetic personality would suit this post.
