Here is a beautiful Fender Capistrano acoustic guitar made in Japan in 1983. It's in very good condition for a 26 year old instrument, only a few light scuffs and tiny dings visible.

The guitars that Fender Japan were turning out from their FujiGen Gakki factory in the early eighties are of a very high quality and are increasingly hard to find as players and collectors alike scoop them up! This guitar will go up in value unlike a new guitar which loses £s as soon as you walk out the shop!

I would keep this guitar if I didn't need the money, it's got a wonderfully full sound and great looks (I love the strat-like headstock!) and plays easily. It is also very beautiful with figured rosewood back and sides and a mellowed honey-coloured spruce top.
