We are looking for an experienced Horticultural Manager to manage a plant area of over £1m turnover, near Aldershot.

This role is going to be an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Horticulturalist/Plant Area Manager, with experience of hardy, bedding and house plants.

The plant area is currently around 15,000 ft and will be soon be expanding, so you will be managing the expansion and refurbishment. This will suit an organised manager with strong merchandising skills and ability to work under pressure.

Another branch of the role will be to oversee the production area of the business; in which, the team will be potting and creating hanging baskets etc to be sold in the plant area so ensuring smooth running is essential.

The role is due to start before Christmas '09 and is available immediately for the right candidate.

Salary £25-30,000 per annum DOE

20 days holiday + bank holidays in lieu and 20% discount across most of the store.
