Technical Project Manager
Working for a global telecoms business, the Technical Project Manager will manage and co-ordinate project deliverables within the scope of the Systems Application Integration delivery.
Duties include:
Development of proposals and statements of work to define end-to-end solutions
Scoping, scheduling and managing a complex projects
Ensuring the project fulfills agreed strategic, time, quality, and budget expectations and targets
Maintain and monitor progress on the project through the use of industry recognized standards
Identification and resolution of problems, as well as working closely with technical team members
Key Skills
PMI or Prince2 equivalent certification and
Good working knowledge of the IT and Internet industry
Telecoms knowledge
Experience with managing technical projects.
Ability to liaise with technical contacts from developer to director level.
Knowledge of n-tier e-commerce architectures design and operation
Hands on experience with core web technologies such as HTML etc
Knowledge of non-Microsoft technologies, such as Java, PHP, MySQL etc
Knowledge of XML
Familiarity with databases technology and the SQL language
High level understanding of network infrastructure and Internet transport protocols
Working knowledge of accepted software notations such as UML
End-to-end project delivery experience involving OSS/BSS applications.
