I have been playing the guitar for eleven years. I began studying music theory at the age of sixteen, and began teaching music privately at eighteen. I currently teach guitar, music theory and songwriting, or any amalgamation of those according to the student’s wishes.

I have completed two years of study at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, and I am currently studying for a guitar degree. I am a competent songwriter and composer, and I have written and recorded music for various commercial and Internet television shows. I am also currently active in two bands in the Guildford area and contribute heavily to the writing in both.

My specialist musical areas are guitar playing in pop, jazz, blues, rock and funk styles, music theory to an advanced level and songwriting in many styles. I have a good knowledge of jazz and pop music history, and I also take a great interest in the business side of the music industry.

I am a versatile teacher, and I wish to teach serious students. Beginners are more than welcome as long as they are enthusiastic. I am based in Guildford and travel to the student's house is a possibility if preferred.
