I am a lady currently looking for some part time hours working with horses. I have been a sole charge groom / yard manager for 4 horses in a private family run yard for the last 2 + years working 21 hours a week. Undertaking all aspects of general high class care , exercising, stable duties, nutritional needs, first aid and land management plus the care of other animals including varoius ducks ,geese ,chickens etc. Oh and a stray racing pigeon that seems to have set up home in the yard !
I have previously owned my own horses and have a good sound knowledge of the job. I am a competent rider although not competitive. Genuine love of equines and first class care comes as standard. Reliable and trustworthy with flexible attitude and a friendly personality. Current position ending due to employers financial difficulties. Wages and hours negotiable.
