Senior STRUTS2 Java/J2EE Developer. Specialist software house based on the Surrey/Hampshire border are looking for an experienced Java/J2EE Developer with STRUTS2 to join their existing Java development team. You will need 5yrs+ Java/J2EE and recent STRUTS2 experience which will encompass the full design and development life cycle. Exposure to Spring/Hibernate is essential. The Client uses elements of Agile (2 week iterations / daily stand ups / unit testing) so any exposure to this methodology would be great. Any current or recent insurance or claims software experience would be highly desirable. This is a hands-on Java/J2EE development role within a mature and experienced Java team. You will need to be a good communicator who is eager to contribute to the Java team at all levels. Candidates will ideally be educated to Degree level.
