I just want to find a worthwhile project in my local area. I love my Prog and my more technical Metal but I've studied a spot of Jazz and all that too. Biggest influences are Mark Heron (Oceansize), John Stanier (Helmet) and Abe Cunningham (Deftones) but I love everything from Folk through Hip Hop and Dance etc etc etc...

I have another band (currently having a bit of a break), with whom I have worked for the last 4 years or so, doing a kind of big, groovy, melodic, semi-progressive thing but I wanna spread myself around a bit more. Been playing for a long time now (25 now, started when I was 8) and am really looking to crack on and get something off the ground. I enjoy pushing myself technically but always try to keep things musical first and foremost, so if you're looking for a reliable, motivated drummer without a massively swollen ego who - contrary to what it says at the top of this ad' - won't speed up or down too much and who (generally speaking) tries to keep things tasteful, give me a shout - As long as the music is good and the people are cool, I'll give it a go.
