Up for sale is my Vox AC30 Custom Classic 2 – 2x12 combo amp.

I dunno exactly what I was thinking when I bought it, however, a recent move of house to somewhere with far thinner walls than the last place means it’s got to go – while it could be fun to use the amp to drown out the sounds of next door arguing, I’d rather they were shouting at each other than shouting at me…! Also, owing ‘the Beatle amp’ has rather loudly revealed my musical abilities to be more Yoko Ono than John Lennon.

The amp comes with power lead and (non original, but vox nevertheless) footswitch. I seem to have lost / misplaced the original box and manual when I moved, but I can get hold of large cardboard box and packaging if needed; and I’ll print out another copy of the manual from the Vox website if required.

I’ve had the amp just under a year; it had bedroom use only for the first few months, but has been ignored recently, what with the hassle of buying a house and moving. I've taken good care of the valves - warming them up for a couple of minutes before use, and the amp is in ‘as new’ condition.

RRP is over £600, so it's reasonably priced

I'm based in Reading town centre, but it's a big heavy b*gger so you're going to need a car to take it away. However, it means you can see it works before you buy!
