I'm currently employed with the Governments D.A.A.T. (Drug & Alcohol Action Team) who are responsible for providing services for those who seek support with their Drug/Alcohol use.

It's no secret that there are individuals out there currently struggling with an addiction without help or support, there are other means of support out there for the lucky ones with parents, partners and other relatives or friends providing some degree of care.

I would like to hear from anyone who currently has an addiction who doesn't use support services, maybe you did but never went back.
I'd be very grateful for any response, email, phone call, letter.
I'm not interested in names etc just the reasons for not using services.
The reason behind our research is that we want to make our services flexible enough for everyone and eliminate any barriers.
We know that having children could be an important factor due to social services although we would like this confirmed.
