Dayskipper Theory:
A comprehensive introduction to chart work, navigation, meteorology and the basics of seamanship. Invaluable for learning how to start making decisions on board and if you are considering taking the Day Skipper practical course.

VHF Radio/Short Range Certificate
This course takes place over one day. It covers marine VHF operation, DSC and Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) procedures using Digital Selective Calling. The course uses Simrad RD68 and Icom IC M421 training radios that are allocated to students individually (no sharing) to enable the maximum practical hands on experience.

Dayskipper Theory Wednesdays at Woking College Rydens Way, Woking, Surrey GU22 9DL commencing 30th September for 44 hours(22 weeks). Cost £360 to include RYA Navigation Pack 1900 – 2130hrs

Dayskipper Theory on Thursdays at The Hythe Centre, Thorpe Road, Staines TW18 3HD. (22 weeks)Commencing 24th September for 44 hours (22 Weeks). Cost £370 to include RYA Navigation Pack. 1900-2130hrs
