For sale I have a fantastic Entertainment System, all made by Sony. Sadly, I have recently been made redundant and need to sell as much stuff as possible to try and stay afloat and able to pay the rent.

I have built the system over the last year, so everything is pretty much up to date; although you can now buy a better TV, the rest of the stuff is still current stock, except the PlayStation 3, which is actually the extremely rare 60 GB original model, with the card reader and separate PS1/PS2 processor, allowing you to play all your old games. I paid a lot of money (£500) for the privilege of owning one of these, and I am absolutely gutted that I need to sell it. Sadly, rent needs to come first.

The television is the KDL-40P3020. It runs at maximum resolution 1080i, so although it cannot quite manage the maximum potential of the PS3, it still looks fantastic. It has all the gadgets you would expect, like an EPG and digital TV, and also has cinema mode for watching movies in the dark. It uses VIVA virtual DOLBY surround, although you won't be using this if you also buy the amp, and has BraviaLink, again useful with the Amp. Originally I paid £950 for this.

Next I have the RHT-G500B amplifier. It is matt black, and makes an absolutely fantastic noise. It has 3 HDMI connections, along with optical inputs and standard AUX, so you can connect up all your multimedia equipment, and hear it all in astonishing virtual 5.1 surround, without the need for speakers all over the room. By plugging the PS3 and Media Centre into this, it processes the sound and passes the visual through it straight to the TV, so you don't need hundreds of HDMI leads. The bass note is insane, but the piece also looks great - this is a piece of furniture after all. And when it is all together, this fantastic collection of high end Sony products makes your lounge look suave, without being too ostentatious. This originally cost £530.

Finally, I have the Vaio VGXTP3E/B media centre PC. This is current model, and I only purcahsed it a month ago. This means it is still covered by warranty, and I can include the receipt with the purchase. This is a very attractive piece of kit, that allows you all the luxuries of having a high end PC with wireless keyboard connected to your HDMI television (via HDMI, so amazing resolution), combined with a set top box to record all your digital TV onto. It has easy to use menus, accessed via the included remote, where you can access your digital media library as well as any digital TV you have recorded. It has two tuners, so you can record two things, or watch one whilst recording another. And don't forget the TV has one too, so technically you can watch 1 whilst recording two others, fantastic if you have a busy house. When I purchased it last month, it cost £440

As you can probably tell, I really do love this system, but I need the money at the moment and this is the most expensive stuff I have, barring my car - which I am also having to sell. As you can see, it has cost in excess of £2400 to put together, but I know I will never get this back. I have been looking on Amazon, and the Amp is going for £390, the media centre is still holding at £440, a refurbished model of the TV is £400, and the PS3 is difficult because no-one sells it anymore. It is so rare though that it could potentially still sell for £400, even with the new model coming out. So really, I think £1500 is a pretty good price.

I would be willing to break down the lot into separates if anyone was interested, but I couldn't come much lower on price, because I do have 8 months more rent to pay and I'm not sure how long I am going to be out of work. Still, I will except reasonable offers.
