Its magic This also makes a great Glastonbury Van so you can chill out at those festivals and get away from it all when you need to The bodywork is solid being handpainted with minor rust to the wheel arches. It has a full 12 months Mot and is not taxed being declared Sorn. Minor dings to the paint work in some areas and a great Summer 69 logo on the side. All solid and Mot passed. The interior is lined in carpet. It is really comfortable and a great place to enjoy views of the sea and beautiful countryside from its huge windows. It has a wheelchair motorbike ramp to the rear. I havent worked out how to use it yet. When you throw open the back doors on the beach the light airy comfort of the van really becomes apparent. It is totally cool for chilling out in the sunshine and fills with light. It also has blinds all round for privacy. It starts well and goes along at an easy pace. It has an automatic gearbox and power assisted steering. Expect to average around 50 mph on the motorway it is a leisure van so goes at a leisurely pace. It has only approx 51000 miles on the clock though what the next number might be I dont know these diesels were built with the mileometer going up to 99999 before starting again at zero. It has a 4.0l Diesel engine. Also recently had replacement tie rods. This huge vehicle is classed as a camper and so you can drive it on an ordinary car licence. The cab has a pair of buttons to open and close the passenger side door this really was a bus once and has a chunky solid frame and chassis and was built to last. The sofas are massive and you need to get a piece of ply to put between them to make the sofas into a double bed that measures 2.0m x 1.83m. I bought this van as a project for this summer but realise I wont have any spare time to do it what with work pressures and everything so sadly I am moving it on. There is a little bit of work to do to tidy up the interior The previous owners took out the separate shower toilet cubicle at the rear of the van and put in a rough-made heavy equipment rack maybe for scuba gear or boards or similar. It would take an afternoon for a handyman to put up a screen with a door to reinstate the washroom. The chemical loo is present below the rack at the back of the van. The gas bottle housing was also removed so the gas bottle housing could also be reinstated at the same time. There is an 8 inch by 3 inch hole under the rack where the previous owners took out a heater which can be easily boarded up. You will also need to get a water container. The van has a water pump supplied. I havent used the water although the sink is all plumbed and ready to go. There is a massive spare gas bottle under the sink and the van has a separate leisure battery. So there is a little bit of working out to do. It comes with stereo speakers and no stereo so will need to be hooked up somehow. It means that you are buying this lovely beast with a network of support.
