Baby and Child Life Saver First Aid Course for Parents, Grandparents and Carers

Learn valuable life saving techniques in the comfort of you own home. This solves all child care issues and can fit around your and you baby's daily routine. You will need only to provide a lounge space - I will bring everything else. Courses run for 2-10 people. Popular with NCT groups

This course will teach you the emergency life saving techniques you will need if a baby, child or adult stops breathing, becomes unconscious or is choking. It will also cover first responder actions to common accidents, illnesses and injuries.

This course will cover:

• How to do basic life support including mouth to mouth and cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• How to deal with choking in a baby, child or adult
• The recovery position
• Basic Life support on babies, children and adults.
• Accident prevention with young children

The course will also cover how to manage:

• Burns and Scalds
• Poisoning
• Ingestion
• Foreign Objects
• Head Injuries
• Febrile Convulsions and Fits
• Recognising Meningitis
• Essential information about safety in the home and garden

Duration: 2 3/4 - 3 hours

Cost: The Baby First Aid Life Saver Course
Includes 2-3 hours of tuition, Emergency First Aid Booklet, CPR FAce Shield, handouts and follow up support if needed.

For: up to 6 people £300 (that works out at only £50 pp) and £50 for each addition person up to 10 people.

Course can be run at your convienience in daytime, evening or weekends in most locations accross Surrey.

The courses are taught by experienced Paediatric Nurses and Health Visitors. Our Nurses have trained many parents in safety and first aid issues over the past 10 years.
