We bought the table whilst on honeymoon in 2005 in South Africa and shipped it over to the UK. The table has a South African hardwood top on a metal frame. This is a typical South African design, using local crafts people and local materials, resulting in a rustic quality.

The table is 80cm (wide) by 120 cm (length) and 46 cm (height). The weight is 41 kg (table top 28 kg, frame 13 kg). I have posted three photographs on this listing – I found it difficult to get photographs that picked out the lustre of the wood and I have done my best! There are two small pieces of brown parcel tape that I inadvertently left on the table legs when I took the photographs – this doesn’t indicate or cover up any damage.

The table would be equally well be at home within a living room or conservatory. The table is essentially in its original condition as we bought it four years ago. We recently moved house, and no longer have room for it- we will be sad to let the table go as it has such fond memories associated with it!
