Front of House Team Leader
Our client is a conference centre set in beautiful rural surroundings situated on the outskirts of Guildford, Surrey.
They are currently recruiting for a Front of House Team Leader to join their friendly and dedicated team. You will be supervising a team of 2 other receptionists.
Purpose of the Job
To create a professional, welcoming and reassuring atmosphere in reception for all visitors and customers, ensuring their needs are responded to promptly and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate the telephone/switchboard and process all messages.
- Process guest accounts & payments and reconcile daily revenues including the preparation of client invoices.
- Receive and arrange effective distribution of all daily mail and deliveries.
- Assist with daily departmental administration duties e.g. rotas, attendance at internal meetings, monitoring guest feedback etc.
- Pre-allocation of guest accommodation as per requirements / instructions.
- Responsibility for the meeting, greeting and departure of all guests providing information, directions and assistance as required.
- Maintain security of keys, cash and all other items safely deposited at Reception.
- Provide an effective level of communication throughout the venue both to clients and internally.
- Assist with the management and effective use of IT reception systems
- Responsible for the training, development and performance of individual Reception team members
- Maintain Health & Safety, Hygiene regulations and ensure risk assessments are maintained and reviewed regularly.
Requirements
Good level of literacy and numeracy
Excellent customer service skills
Good PC skills - Word and email
5 days out of 7, approximately 40 hours per week on a rota basis.
Shifts are either 7am - 3pm or 2pm - 10pm.
Salary up to £18750.
