Saxham St Edmunds is Lilliput Lane's interpretation of a typical village from East Anglia, an area famous for its steep thatch and flint walls. Inspired by Cavendish on the borders of Suffolk and Essex, it contains many splendid "Suffolk Pinks". Other buildings are from Norfolk; quaint cottages from Hales and a fine Saxon church from Cranwich.
