If you aspire to be an excellent early years practitioner and are passionate about giving young children the best start in life, we invite you to apply for the post of Early Years Assistant in the new Grovelands Children’s Centre which opens in November 2009.

Working in partnership with the Integrated Care and Education Manager and Foundation Stage Leader, previous experience working with children aged from 3-5years is essential, as is knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. You will need to hold an NVQ3 or equivalent in early years childcare and education and be committed to ongoing professional development.

You will possess strong organisational skills; enjoy working as a member of a team as well as your own initiative; and be willing to work flexibly. Your proven ability to establish good relationships with young children, their parents and other members of the school community will be an important attribute.
