Senior Analyst Programmer Required – Web/eCommerce

SALARY & BENEFITS: up to £40,000pa + benefits (6% pension, life assurance, bonus, BUPA, 25 days hols, sick pay, childcare vouchers, AA & Churchill insurance discounts).

Location; 18 min direct train ride from Clapham Junction, London – (Woking, Surrey).

THE OPPORTUNITY: My Client is Europe’s largest integrated betting and gaming company, employing around 17,000 employees. As well as over 1,500 betting offices, bingo clubs and casinos, they have a significant online presence in the UK and throughout Europe.

Due to substantial growth in their online offer, the E-Commerce Division currently has an excellent opportunity for Senior Analyst Programmers.

Responsibilities include: Development, maintenance and support of new functionalities for the company’s websites using the technologies mentioned below, Analysis of business and user requirements and production of functional specifications, Project implementation from inception through development and support, testing of web functionality, Resolving problems on specific platforms.

THE CANDIDATE: With an IT or Scientific academic background and considerable experience in an IT Development environment, you will have experience of all stages of the development lifecycle (specification, development, testing and implementation). Qualifications will include PHP 4 or 5, Oracle 8i (or above) or other RDBMS, SQL and PL/SQL (triggers, stored procedures).
