Hi, I'm a 27 year old teacher...which means I have long break this Summer in which I could do a bit of travelling (yay!)....but, sadly, don't seem to have anyone to go with (boo :-( ). I could go on my own, but thought it would be nice to have someone to travel with, see some sights, and share meals with etc., so thought I'd see if there was anyone else out there in a similar boat?

A few more details...basically, I'd like to travel for a couple of weeks, fairly inexpensively, somewhere in the world! Had thought of Europe as easy to get to/travel around etc...but am open to any reasonable suggestion! I can go between 25th of July and 1st of August. Was thinking hostels/cheaper hotels as don't have an endless amount of money :-)

The person I'm looking for would need to be female, and probably of a simlar-ish age. Someone friendly and open to compromise so that we could both see/do the stuff we wanted. Am happy doing bits on my own if we wanted to see different things, but am also happy to find things that we both want to do. Although I'd be very up for going for a few drinks of an evening, I'm not looking to spend every night crazy clubbing (could stay at home and do that!), as I'd rather soak up a bit of culture!

Ideally, I'd like to meet up with my 'travel buddy' beforehand, maybe do a bit of bonding, before taking off for parts unknown...!

As for me, I'm a fairly 'normal' girl, who can manage to look after myself and do my share of the organising! I'm quite bubbly and (like to think I) have a good sense of humour. I'm based in Woking, Surrey, so if you're nearish that would be a bonus, but would consider anyone UK based.
