We are looking for an experienced sous chef for a food-led village pub south of Guildford.

Following a major refurbishment in summer 2008 we have turned around a once failing business and are now looking to grow further by recruiting a Sous Chef to assist our Head Chef.

We looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience is preferred, though training will be provided.

Duties will include assisting the Head Chef in food and kitchen preperation, undertaking clean down at end of service and maintaining legal hygiene standards in the kitchen. The successful candidate will also be expected to run the kitchen when the Head Chef is not working .

The pub is in a rural area so having your own transport would be preferable, though not necessary. We can offer a competitive salary, and the the option to live-in would also be available.
