An establised English language homestay organisation is looking for qualified and experienced English language teachers with comfortable homes who can offer 1:1 tuition and accommodation to students wishing to learn English intensively in their home. This could be from as little as 1-2 weeks per year.

The Living Learning English programme aims to give students total immersion in the English language and culture. Students are welcomed into their teachers' homes where they experience English life as part of the family together with an individual programme of intensive tuition.

We offer courses all year round to all ages and levels of students. In addition to General English, students may choose to study Business English; Academic English (including examination preparation and subject tuition e.g. Maths, Science) and English Plus (General English plus activity lessons – guided sightseeing, cookery, English gardens, golf etc). The average length of stay is two weeks.

Our students are:

Young adults preparing for English exams;

Business professionals wishing to improve their communication skills for their work;

International students in Independent schools needing English for Academic purposes;

People of any age simply wishing to improve their English on a study holiday.

Successful homestay teachers will enjoy teaching English and hosting students in their home. They will have a professional qualification in teaching - normally the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) or the Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Cert. TESOL) as a minimum initial qualification; a comfortable home and enthusiasm for sharing their language, culture and location.
