The Hitchhikers are a pub rock band from the Woking area. With constant motivation, ideas, and having recently recruited new, young lead guitarist, they are on their way to becoming one of the most established pub bands in Surrey.

Music comes from the likes of AC/DC, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Cream, Cockney Rebel, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kings Of Leon, Lynrd Skynrd, Manic Street Preachers, Neil young, Pink Floyd, The Doors amongst others....

Origionally formed in 2008, The Hitchhikers came together as a group of friends who just loved to play music, some of whom had previously played together in other bands around Surrey. The band has played many venues from pubs around Surrey, all the way up to Nottingham, and even as far a field as Prague. The group recently underwent a reshuffle of lead guitarists when Sam Woodland stepped in, and the guys instantly gelled. With Gary's raw vocals, Mike's solid driving rythm, Andys thunderous bass, Matt's solid beat and Sam's fiery lead playing, the band has become a solid unit.
