It Support Engineer
Our client, a leading provider of IT services, is looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer to join their existing technical support team and whose primary role will be working both on our busy helpdesk to perform remote and telephone support as well as on site support at our customer sites so own Car and driving licence is essential.
Reporting into the Technical Director, our client is looking for personable, articulate and literate individuals who are able to work both on their own initiative and under pressure as well as be confident in dealing with clients face to face.
Our client is ideally looking for individuals who are either qualified or working towards the MCDST, MCSA, MCSE qualifications though not essential and who can demonstrate at least 2 years commercial experience of working within an IT support capacity and have experience in the installation, configuration and support of Windows XP/Vista, MS Office 2003/2007 and Active Directory with experience of Windows 2003/2008 and Exchange Server 2003/2007 a distinct advantage, though not essential.
Individuals who can also demonstrate experience with HP ProCurve, Watchguard, Cisco networking, HP ProLiant servers and Terminal services would be of a benefit to our client.
