Does your dog have some problems you'd like to deal with quickly? perhaps you work all day and dont have the time to put in to training your dog?

Adolescent Dogs provides a 2 week Intensive Training Course for all dog owners. The features of the service include having the trainee dog remaining in the comforts of your own home whilst the training is conducted without the need for your dog to go into kennels. This makes the entire process alot less stressful both for dog and owner. We will personally collect your dog everyday and drop off at a convenient time to suit you. Your dog will be accompanied by two of our qualified instructors at all times and will never be left unsupervised. We believe that dogs benefit from training in a variety of locations and natural settings, therefore we ensure that your dog is exposed to a number of natural distractions everyday.


Each course is tailor made to the individual owners and their dogs. Course material can cover:

Basic to Advanced obedience
Walking on a loose lead
Come when called from distractions
Chasing Recall for dogs who chase joggers, rabbits, cyclists etc.
Jumping up, Mouthing, Food Stealing etc
Car Travel
Basic to Advanced Obedience
Socialisation with other dogs
Confidence Building for the nervous dog
Over excitability when greeting visitors
Sit and Stay when told
Settle in busy enviroments (i.e. pubs, parks etc)
Bike and Car chasers
Provide greater control within the home
Anything you feel has room for improvement

Progress Reports

There are numerous ways to follow the progress of your dog's training. To begin, you will receive extensive training notes, including an outline of the entire training process as well as regular email and telephone reports.

Demonstration

At the end of the 2 week period you will be invited to view a demonstration of obedience exercises taught to your dog with the opportunity to ask questions before your part of the hands on tuition begins.

Hands on Tuition for Owner

At the end of the 2 week period you will be given hands on tuition which will teach you the reinforcement methods used to train the dog and will be given time to practise these methods on the trained dog. You will be given as much tuition as is needed for you to feel confident handling the dog with the newly taught exercises.

Aftercare Aftercare is offered for as long and as often as necessary to ensure that the handling skills are well understood and practiced properly, and any mistakes are not being unintentionally repeated. Depending on preferences and conveniences, aftercare may be in the form of written support, telephone support or further hands-on tuition at the school at no extra cost.
